Singapore & Selangor Legend, Razali Alias passed away.

Razali Alias passed away yesterday at Selayang Hospital due to Hepatitis B.Allahyarham aged 51 years old.

Razali, a midfielder who was in the Selangor team that won the Malaysia Cup in 1982,1984 and 186, will be buried at the Bukit Cerakah Muslim Cemetery in Puncak Alam, Shah Alam today.

According to Razali's son Mohd Raqib,26, his father who was admitted a week ago, passed away at 2.25 p.m. yesterday.

"During a medical check up the doctor had confirmed that my father's kidneys had failed," he told Bernama when contacted yesterday.

Razali was first diagnosed with Hepatitis B in 2008 and received treatment but after having recovered initially, there was a recurrence in October last year and his health condition had continued to deteriorate.

During the highlight of his career with Selangor, Razali who played with the likes of legendary striker Mokhtar Dahari, R. Arumugam and Zainal Abidin, scored the winning goal against Johor to win the Malaysia cup in 1986.

He later turned to coaching and appointed Selangor assistant coach for the 2006-2007.Razali also coached the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) in 2009.
