1. The 20 000th goals of Premier League: Marc Albrighton goal in the 54th minute in a meeting between Villa against Arsenal on Dec 21, 2011 was named as the 20 000th goals in the Premier League. He has received £18,865.50 (RM90 000) from the England FA to donate to charities chosen by him.

The longest goalkeeper does not conceded goals: Victor Valdes has endured 897 minutes without conceding for the season 2011/12 so far starting from 22nd minute on the fifth match until 20th minute on the 12th match  in La Liga. Barcelona managed only conceded 8 goals from 16 matches in  2011/12 La Liga season so far.

3. Record of the fastest goal in Bundesliga: Bayer Leverkusen striker Ulf Kirsten born in Germany has made a recorded in the Bundesliga which is the fastest goal, scoring in the 11th second against Kaiserslautern in 2002. Ulf Kirsten's goal remains the fastest goal recorded in Bundesliga so far.
