Championship 2011/12 week 32 part 2

West Ham United, Birmingham City and Middlesbrough all recorded away wins in the Championship on Tuesday.

West Ham moved back to the top of the Championship table with a convincing 4-1 win at Blackpool.

Defender James Tomkins and striker Nicky Maynard scored within four first-half minutes for Sam Allardyce's side, but a Kevin Philips strike just before half-time gave Blackpool some hope.

Birmingham moved into third place with a 3-1 win at Barnsley that extended the club's unbeaten run to 15 matches in all competitions.

A Rob Edwards own-goal gave Chris Hughton's side the lead after just eight minutes, and although Craig Davies produced a quick response for Barnsley, Keith Fahey restored Birmingham's lead on 27 minutes.

Substitute Nathan Redmond had been on the pitch for just five minutes when he sealed the win with his goal 12 minutes from time.

Middlesbrough also won 3-1 on the road, with two first-half goals from Dutch forward Marvin Emnes setting up the win at Millwall.

Darius Henderson pulled a goal back for the hosts on 43 minutes but Curtis Main made sure of Middlesbrough's win with his late strike.
