DFB Pokal 2011-2012 Quarter-finals

Borussia Dortmund has recorded a comfortable victory in the quarter-finals of the DFB Pokal on Tuesday, beating Holstein Kiel 4-0.

Two goals in each half earned the Bundesliga leaders a semi-final berth.Robert Lewandowski got Dortmund going in just the 11th minute, while goals from Shinji Kagawa, Lucas Barrios and Ivan Perisic rounded out the win.

Goals from Franck Ribery and Mario Gomez helped Bayern Munich into the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal with a 2-0 victory over Stuttgart.

Rafinha and Thomas Mueller exchanged passes before the German crossed for Ribery, who met the ball at the front post and sent a deft shot into the net.

The Bavarian club sealed the win less than a minute into the second half.

Mueller was the creator again, crossing to Gomez, and although Stuttgart's goalkeeper Sven Ulreich was able to parry the 26-year-old's first shot, he could not prevent Gomez from smashing home the rebound.

In the German capital, two goals in extra time has handed Borussia Moenchengladbach a place in the last four ahead of Hertha Berlin.

In the additional 30 minutes, Filip Daems put his side ahead from the spot after an incredible lack of control by Hertha defender Roman Hubnik.

Oscar Wendt wrapped up the win for the visitors' with the last kick of the match.

In the third match of the DFB Pokal on Wednesday, Bundesliga 2 side Greuther Furth shocked Hoffenheim 1-0 at home thanks to a goal by Canada international Olivier Occean in the 44th minute.
