FA Cup 2011-2012 5th Round part 3

Stevenage earned an FA Cup fifth-round replay at White Hart Lane after a 0-0 draw with Tottenham on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Liverpool advanced to the last eight with a 6-1 thrashing of Championship outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.

Slovakian defender Martin Skrtel put the hosts ahead after five minutes, heading in a corner from Steven Gerrard.

But Gus Poyet's side, unbeaten this year heading into the encounter, levelled through Kazenga LuaLua, who powered a 25-yard free-kick through the Liverpool wall and into the bottom corner.

Liverpool went into the break a goal up when Liam Bridcutt netted the first of his two own goals, with a clearance from a Brighton and Hove Albion team-mate deflecting off him and in after a goalmouth scramble one minute before the interval.

Andy Carroll made it 3-1 when he struck a squared Stewart Downing pass into the corner 12 mintes after the restart, before Bridcutt diverted a Gerrard effort from an impossible angle into his own net.

Lewis Dunk also scored an own goal when his poor second touch went over the line as he looked to clear in the 75th minute.

The rout was complete when Luis Suarez, who had a penalty saved just moments earlier, headed in six minutes from time after Carroll nodded across the face.

Stoke City, who overcame League Two's Crawley Town 2-0 despite having Rory Delap sent off.

Jonathan Walters opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Peter Crouch made it two just after the break to dash any hopes of a cup upset.
