Four countries compete to host the 2019 Asian Games.

Taipei, Surabaya and combination of Dubai and Abu Dhabi is now the leading candidate to host the 2019 Asian Games.

According to the website of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM), the three Olympic Committee Taiwan, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) has submitted aspiration.

Host for the largest games in Asia will be selected on the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in Macau on 3 November.

OCA Media Committee Chairman, Charles Lo said the opportunities for all involved to choose the city is wide open, but monitoring will be made before the election at a rally in Macau.

City of Incheon in South Korea will host the 2014 Asian Games.

In addition to nominations for the Asian Games, OCA Media Committee also received a nomination from Doha (Qatar) and Tokyo (Japan), which are two candidates from Asia, to organize the 2020 Olympic Games.

After the 2012 Olympics in London this July, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil will host the world's biggest games in 2016.

In addition, Manila was chosen as the venue for 100 year celebration of the Asian Games as the Philippine capital's first hosting the games was once known as the "Oriental Games".
