Tragedy of football around the world

1. June 23 1968-Buenos Aires, Argentina:
74 fans died and over 150 injured when the crowd rushed towards the stadium's exit door closed after the         match between the clubs River Plate and Boca Juniors.

2.February 7 1974-Egypt:
49 people were killed and 50 others were injured after crowd tried to enter the Zamalek Stadium causing a collapsed wall.

3.October 20 1982-Moscow, Russia:
340 people died following the crash on the stairs out of the stadium a few minutes before the end of the European Cup between Spartak Moscow and Haarlem.

4.May 29 1985-Brussels, Belgium:
39 fans were killed when a wall collapsed due to the clash between Liverpool and Juventus fans during the European Cup final at Heysel Stadium. More than 400 spectators were injured.

5.March 12 1988-Kathmandu, Nepal:
At least 93 people were killed and over 100 injured when fans tried to escape from the hail dashed towards the exit door closed stadium.

6.April 15 1989-Sheffield, England:
96 people were killed at Hillsborough during the FA Cup semi-final match between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest after police opened one of the stadium's main gate causing fans rushed through in.

7.March 30 2009-Abijdan, Ivory Coast:
About 22 people were killed after a stadium's wall collapsed when a World Cup qualifier between host Ivory Coast and Malawi at the Houphouet-Boigny Stadium.

8.April 7 2009-Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia:
Worst incident happened in Malaysia is the first semi-final match in 2009 which saw the FA Cup clash between Negeri Sembilan and Kelantan at Sultan Muhammed IV Stadium in Kota Bahru.

9.November 7 2009-Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia:
Kelantan supporters acting wild again. This time the Malaysia Cup final on 7 November 2009 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

10.February 1 2012-Port Said, Cairo, Egypt(LATEST):
At least 74 people have died and hundreds are injured after clashes broke out at a football match in Port Said between Cairo club Al-Ahly and local club Al-Masry.
