Hamilton dominated both practice sessions at F1 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix 2012

 




Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton dominated both practice sessions at Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix 2012 held on Friday at the Sepang Circuit.

The British driver maintained his best performance in the second practice session Friday afternoon with a record of 1:38.172 seconds.



Meanwhile, Hamilton's team mate & 2010 world champions, Jenson Button managed to improve his record time in the afternoon session.

Button recorded the third fastest time with 1:38.535 s, compared to 1:39.323 s as recorded in the first training session.



Seven times world champion Michael Schumacher from Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team, trailing close behind Hamilton with the difference being only 0.361s.



His team mate,Nico Rosberg recorded the fourth fastest time with 1:38.696 s.

Official training session of Malaysian Grand Prix continues at 1 pm on Saturday and the qualifying begins at 4 pm.
