10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT EDEN HAZARD !
1. Eden Hazard has a height of 5 feet 8 inches and was born on January 1, 1991 in La Louviere, Belgium.
2. He began his career at a Belgian club, Royal Stade Brainois, before moving to the AFC Tubize, where his talent began to be identified by a Lille's talent scout and signed a contract with the youngster. Known for fast playing style & high technical ability, Hazard listed in the club's main squad after agreed with a professional contract in May 2007.
3. He made a first team debut as a substitute in November 2007 against AS Nancy in Ligue 1. Hazard receive another three substitute appearances before being placed back into the Lille's reserve team for the rest of the season where he helped the team finish in the fifth place in the league.
4. At the start of 2008-09 season, new manager Rudi Garcia recalls Hazard back to team and he scored his first Lille's goal in September. The goal came in the 88th minute during a league match against Auxerre. The goal made Hazard the youngest player scored in club history.
5. Hazard then make 36 appearances and scored six goals for the team in the season. He also became the first foreign player to win the Ligue 1 Best Young Player of the year.
6. Hazard's performance on the next season increasingly better. Hazard scored two important goals when they met FK Sevojno and Belgian club, Genk to help Lille qualified for the Europa League group stage.
He has scored 10 goals in all competitions that season and was nominated for two awards , Ligue 1 Best Player of the year & Ligue 1 Best Young Player of the year. Hazard, however, lost to Lyon striker, Lisandro Lopez, but he once again won the Best Young Player for two consecutive years - the first player to do so.

8. Hazard's career also has a fall down. He have a major disappointment in his career in 2010-11 season when his performance was uncertainties causing him to heating Lille's bench.
Criticism was also received for his physical and mental level from Belgium national football team, Georges Leekens. However, this has a positive impact on Hazard when he returned to the original performance in the mid-season.
He scored a dozen goals - including the only goal in the Coupe de France final victory over Nancy. Hazard feels that the critics have helped him in the recovery process, "I learned a lot, including the mental aspect. And since then, things got better."
9. After attempting to put himselves in various stages of Belgium national team, Hazard make an international debut in November 2008, as a substitute in the 67th minute when met Luxembourg. So far he has played in 25 games for his country.
10. Eden Hazard's family members also have a football talent, Eden's parent is a professional football player and his brother, aged 18, Thorgan is currently studying in academy at the Lille's major enemy, Lens.
